Dr. Berry grew up in West Virginia before moving to North Carolina for her undergraduate education. She received her bachelor’s degree in biology from Mars Hill College in 2004, and she went on to earn her doctorate of optometry in 2008 from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. Before moving to Durango, Dr. Berry was practicing at the Zuni Indian Hospital and played an instrumental role in developing a new optometry residency program as the founding program director through the Southern California College of Optometry.
